Freight forwarders and transport companies that move goods across borders by road, air, ocean, rail or several modes, and want every job to start with a clear Incoterms split and end with a closed file.
Small and medium freight forwarding, transport and logistics companies in Europe and the US, working by road, air, ocean or rail. It works whether your processes are written down today or not.
Incoterms 2020, all 11 rules. The matrix is a summary for operations, checked against the ICC rules. The full published rules and your sales contract decide.
Step 5 hands over to the shipment documents and customs kit. The job sheet records who clears export and import and the references: MRN in the EU version, ITN and entry number in the US version.
Carrier liability is limited, for example 8.33 SDR per kg under CMR and 26 SDR per kg under the Montreal Convention, and is often far below the value of the goods. The kit has an email that asks the customer to decide in writing before departure.
Everyone in your own company: all staff and all branches, as often as you like. You can share the filled-in documents with customers, carriers and auditors. You cannot resell or give away the templates themselves.
A program that opens Word and Excel files. The files are standard .docx and .xlsx, so they open in all common office programs.
